Minute Maid Stem Pack

Plastic straws and juice boxes are little, but they're a HUGE problem. They overflow landfills and most plastics don’t decompose leaving them to hurt animals and the environment. Coca-Cola’s 48 Hour repack competition challenged my team to solve this global issue. The Minute Maid stem pack is a biodegradable package that helps to promote an environmentally conscious alternative to the original Tetra Pack (juice box). Fewer straws in the world mean happy sea turtles, no plastic straws mean cleaner oceans for the families that enjoy Minute Maid.
